These extended pieces were created expressly as a quest or journey into
deep meditation, and develop a remote, vast space sense.
They were specifically conceived as an extension of the piece "Probing
Meditation" on the album "Meditational Music No.7" (1983).
At this very slow tempo, sometimes as little as 10 beats per minute, the
tempo is more like a rolling wave or tai chi movement than a metronomic
click.
The relationship between very slow pulse and deep peace is quite
beautiful, this is an area which could be tapped much more. Time of track 1: 15' 24"
